If you ve not yet heard about the Unlimited Conference organised by Hearts on Fire Youth Ministry in collaboration with DYB - Diocesan Youth Board, Singapore or know of youths who might be interested, it s still not too late to sign up! IMITED Conference was birthed out of the desire to champion youths of our nation and to inspire them to dream the God-given dreams for their lives. We believe that each and every young person is born with a purpose and a destiny, created for such a time as this. To each has been given passions, gifts and visions, but most importantly the hope given to us through the love of Christ. As we begin to boldly dream and lay hold of what God has placed on our hearts, we will see a generation arise — fearless, passionate and excellent, ready to raise the banner of Christ in our world. Through speaker sessions, worship, workshops and panel sessions, we invite you to an encounter that will change your life. Workshops are catered to specific industries, with Christians who have made outstanding contributions and achievements in their fields to inspire, encourage and motivate us towards living out our faith in those areas of society. This is the time for a generation to rise up. We are the army of Christ. This is the revolution. Registration at http://tinyurl.com/unlimitedconf2 Check out http://www.anglican.org.sg/events/single/unlimited-conference or chat with DYB - Diocesan Youth Board, Singapore for more info! And help us keep this conference in prayer! 🙌

“Amazing love, how can it be? That you my King would die for me Amazing love, I know it’s true It’s my joy to honour You” 🎶 . This Good Friday in particular, let us remember and honour our Lord Jesus Christ for His unfailing love, that He would lay down His life on the Cross for each of us. . “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” (John 3:16-17) #GoodFriday #dioceseofsingapore

P R A Y F O R “Righteousness in our land” . “Righteousness in our land: that the moral gate of our nation will be guarded against the tide of liberalism and licentiousness that is sweeping across the nations, philosophies that promise freedom but entrap humankind in fetters and spread the dust of death over society.” - And this marks our final prayer theme for Lent, as Bishop shared in his message last month (http://www.anglican.org.sg/page/bishops-lenten-message). We hope you found these themes / posts helpful in guiding some of your prayers in this Season of Lent. - While these are reminders for Lent, let’s continue to pray for these themes beyond Lent. Don’t forget to help us remind your friends / share this post (and our earlier posts)! #dioceseofsingapore #lent #prayer

P R A Y F O R “Fruitfulness of the harvest” . “Fruitfulness of the harvest: that the Lord will wonderfully open the eyes of multitudes of people to behold Jesus as God’s appointed King over all the earth and to embrace Him truly as their Lord and Savior so they are ready from conversion to serve Him with their lives.” - It’s already our FINAL week of Lent, as we welcome Holy Week. But it’s never too late to spend time with God in prayer! Here’s the 3rd prayer theme for Lent, as Bishop shared in his message last month. Don’t forget to help us remind your friends / share this post! - How can you and I meaningfully participate in this Lenten season? Read Bishop’s Lenten Message (http://www.anglican.org.sg/page/bishops-lenten-message) for more. Have a Blessed Holy Week, everyone!

P R A Y F O R “Oneness of the Body” . “Oneness of the body: the true unity of heart and mind among pastors and leaders at the national level as well as at denominational and local church levels: that we will find a new freedom in the Spirit to forgive one another, to stand with one another and to be content to be nameless.” - Following a previous post, here’s another prayer theme for Lent, as Bishop shared in his message last month. More reminders over the next few days, so watch this space. And don’t forget to help us remind your friends / share this post! - How can you and I meaningfully participate in this Lenten season? P R A Y F O R “Brokenness of spirit” . “Brokenness of spirit: the defilement of sin in all of us, our repentance from pride, waywardness and self-reliance; acknowledgement of our failures; and our utter dependence upon the Lord apart from whom we can do nothing (Jn 15: 4-5)” - As we approach Holy Week, here’s a reminder on what we can pray for during Lent, as Bishop shared in his message last month. More reminders over the next few days, so watch this space. And don’t forget to help us remind your friends / share this post! - How can you and I meaningfully participate in this Lenten season? Read Bishop’s Lenten Message (http://www.anglican.org.sg/page/bishops-lenten-message) for more.

@Diocese of Singapore 2018-03-15

Have you been meeting with God in the ‘Tent of Meeting’? . In Bishop’s Lenten Message, he reminds us to “restore the practice of secret morning devotion with the Lord (Ps 57: 8 - 11)”. When we do so, “we will begin to experience the promise of the new covenant that beholding the full glory of God in the image of Jesus Christ, we are “being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another” (2 Cor 3:18).” . And indeed, isn’t this so true, when you spend unhurried time with our Beloved Father? If you have not yet begun or are still struggling to consistently do so, do not worry, or give up! We pray that your desire to do so grows, and that the Holy Spirit may guide and inspire you to spend more time with God in His Word. Even beyond this period of Lent, we also pray that you will still meet with Him each morning, and experience more and more of Him as you seek Him each day! - How can you and I meaningfully participate in this Lenten season? Read Bishop’s Lenten Message (http://www.anglican.org.sg/page/bishops-lenten-message) for more.

“But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life… keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ…” 1 Tim 6:11-14 - In his Lenten Message, Bishop Rennis shared this verse God placed upon his heart as he begun Lent this year. . What has God placed upon your heart for Lent this year? As you spend time with God in this Season of Lent, we pray that He speaks to each of you in His special way, and may we as the Body of Christ continue to pursue God and work towards Christ-likeness. . We’re about halfway into the Season of Lent, but it’s still not too late to begin! If you’ve not started, there’s still time! - How can you and I meaningfully participate in this Lenten season? Read Bishop’s Lenten Message (http://www.anglican.org.sg/page/bishops-lenten-message) for more.
